Inspected schools report (compared to non inspected schools):
- Significant higher levels of ‘accepting feedback’, ‘setting expectations’, and ‘promoting self-evaluations’
- More improvements in the innovation capacity of the school
- More improvements of effective school and teaching conditions (e.g. opportunity to learn, assessment of students).
There is no difference between inspected and not inspected schools in the level of unintended consequences.
